Adult Programs

The RRTC Adult Program works with the hardest to place populations. We assist those individuals who may have low or no job skills, low literacy levels and numeracy skills, poor or inadequate formal education, and poor work history, or who are formerly incarcerated.

Through the use of resources provided under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Rock River Training Corporation helps adults obtain employment by providing job-related training or by providing employment placement services.

Staff are available to help customers decide which WIA-related services and/or services provided by our partner agencies apply to them.

We provide one-on-one advising and work with our adult customers to help them determine what their best path to success may be. We help them by providing self-directed job search strategies. Also, RRTC staff members will be there to assist customers along their chosen path, during their training period and after employment, until they achieve success.

All adult customers are entitled to access Core Services, which include resume writing, internet job listings, labor market information, financial aid information, self-assessment internet-based tools, etc.
